With 23 years of experience, Jessica Berg is an architect and thought leader in planning and design of secure justice and behavioral health care facilities for county and state agencies. Before starting her own architectural firm, JB Marie LLC in 2023, Jessica worked as a Senior Security & Behavioral Health Planner and Project Manager personally involved in the design and planning of over 2,500 jail / prison beds as well as 1,500 forensic / behavioral health beds. She is adept at incorporating trauma-informed safety measures and security provisions into the design that supports the safety of staff and the incarcerated persons in their care.
